sigh...I'm a lemming...
I did it. I joined facebook. Because I need another place to talk to the people I already talk to. You can find me at the usual addresses/contact info.
Actually, I did it because as a librarian, I need to know how to use these things and what's out there. Also, because of this interesting study I read about on Boingboing this morning. Turns out that the better educated and higher class folk are on facebook and the "grunts" (military and otherwise) are on myspace. This makes sense to me as facebook started out on the college scene and myspace started out as a place for musicians to pimp their music.
Anyway, it's out there. I'm a lemming. I have no idea if I'll use it or not, but it's there.
