If I submit my change of address form via snail mail, it costs me nothing. If I submit it online, it costs me $1. Guess which one I'll be doing?

submiting it online, so you don't have to wonder over to the post office and buy stamps :P

Actually, it's a postage paid postcard, so it really costs me nothing to do via snailmail. ;)

That is stupid.

oh i wasn't talking about the cost stamp costs 50 cents, it was the lazyness factor, although why they'd charge you for making their lives easier is beyond me, sorting through mail is a pain in the ass.

Change of address??? This sounds good. What's up? House sold? (I hope!!)

Unfortunately, no, it hasn't sold. But I got a PO box and am actually moving out - a friend has graciously offered me her deceased mom's house until they decide to sell.

So probably next weekend, I'm moving out. Doesn't solve all the problems (the house is 4 down from where I'm living now) but at least gives me space of my own (and gives him space of his own).

Yeah! I am so glad you will be in your own space! That will be so good for you. He might as well be on another planet when you can lock your doors and close the curtains. Your friend rocks!
