Why Do Lesbians Hate Bisexuals

What a joke. Bi folk get it twice of course – as well as straightforward homophobia, they also have to face biphobia from both the straight and gay community.

I've experienced it, so I know it's true.  I just wonder as to why people are so intolerant.  Why does attraction scare people so?

Well, go figure.  USA Today published an article about a study of bisexual women and found that "it's not a phase."
Couple interesting things to note:

• This was picked up by USA Today.  One of the more conservative newspapers around and was written without much bias.  That rocks.
• It also touches on the concept that bisexual women have problems with commitment because they're constantly thinking about sex.  Well, no.  Those can be completely independent issues, and more often than not, one has nothing to do with the other. 
  

I'd like to see the study gone larger (yes 79 women is a small sample), but what a very cool thing to have been done and published in the newspaper that's left in more hotels and motels than any other. 

It's a good day to be bi.  Now I'm off to see if I can find the actual study.
