- What's your sign?
Stop. What's yours? -
Are you busy tonight at 3:00 A.M.?
3AM is the morning. And, yes, I am. - Where have you been all my life?
Standing next to you, baby. The fact that you haven't seen me leads me to believe you're blind and stupid. - Do you have a bf/gf, wife or husband?
Yep. All of the above. Why? Do you want to fuck them too? - Show us something cheesy.
- What types of physical activity do you get on a daily basis?
Besides sex? I walk the dogs most days, spend my days in a building as long as a football field where my desk is at one end and the loo is at the other; I used to bicycle fairly frequently (though not recently), and I get out on my rollerblades occasionally. - Do you take any kind of vitamin supplement?
Occasionally a multi, often a cranberry pill, occasionally a C and an E. - What is your favorite healthy snack?
I have no idea. - What is the one food you feel guilty eating?
I don't. There's little I feel guilty about in my life at all. Why would I feel guilty about food? - Show us something taken care of.
Can't. He's swimmin wit da fishes.
- When grilling, what type of grill do you prefer? Gas, charcoal, etc...
Does it cook my food? Then I don't care. But I do own one of the little Weber Smokey Joe grills that uses charcoal. - Are you planing any vacations this summer?
Went to London for a weekend. Going to Phila in September. Nothing more than that. - Do you tan or burn?
Burn, then tan and freckle. - What's your favorite summer pastime?
Up north, beach or riding my bicycle. Down here in FL, anything indoors. Though I still ride my bicycle and skate. - Show us a beach.
- What's something you have a lot of?
Well, as someone who just purged a lot of the stuff I had, I wouldn't say, by US standards, that I have a lot of anything. By world standards, I have a lot of everything. - What's something you need more of?
time. always time. - How do you feel about shopping?
I enjoy it quite a bit. - Have you ever won anything?
money in a casino, occasional door prizes - Show us something you bought recently.
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
What is this an interview? I have no idea. Hopefully divorced at the very least. - What are some goals you set for yourself?
I don't have long term goals. Keeping a roof over my head, divorcing my husband, selling the house. Other than that? Nope. - Do you lean better by hands on, or from books?
Depends on what I'm learning. I'm actually an auditory learner, so I need to hear it and then speak it to learn it best. It's why I enjoy teaching so much. - What do you wish you could do better at?
Writing. Drawing. Listening to my inner censor. - Show us something done.
Because I'm in presentations all day tomorrow, here's this week's Friday 5:
- How many times have you moved in your lifetime?
12. Different metropolitan areas? 3 - If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I have no idea. It depends on so many things. - Do you own or rent your home?
Both. I own the house my not-soon-enough-ex lives in but rent the home I live in. The one I own is for sale if anyone's interested. - What is the furthest distance you have moved?
1st huge move: Philadelphia to Seattle (approx distance 2900 miles)
2nd huge move: Seattle to Clearwater (approx distance 3200 miles) - Show us something around your house.
- When you need to be somewhere, do you tend to be late, early, or right on time?
Generally on time, sometimes 5-10 minutes late - Have you ever been pulled over, or gotten trouble because you were in a hurry?
The first ticket I was unable to talk my way out of was because I was rushing from class to the voting booth to vote. Class got out at 7:10 and the polls closed at 8. School was 45 minutes away, so I was flying. Needless to say, I didn't get to vote. - What was one of the reasons you left a previous job?
I disliked the person who I was working for (actually left a couple jobs because of this). - How long does it take for you to get ready to go?
Depends where I'm going and what I have to do. But I can be into the shower and out the door in 10 minutes if I have to. - Show us something you can't leave home without.
I never thought I'd say this, but I really can't leave home without it:
- What's your average sleep time?
about 3-4 hours. I'd often kill someone for 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep. - Are you an early bird or a late sleeper?
late if I can swing it. Dogs never let me though - Do you find it hard to fall asleep, or do you go right out?
impossible. - Have you ever slept somewhere other than a bed?
hasn't everyone? this is the question that often disappears in memes - Show us sleep.
- Tell us about your oldest known relative?
Well, the current matriarch of the family is my grandmother, Meme. She's a beautiful 90-year old woman (may I age as well), and quite possibly the only person in the world that I love unconditionally. - Do you have any friends of the family that you called auntie, uncle, etc?
My Aunt Kay & Uncle Bill were friends of the family, but they passed away over 15 years ago. And there are several older distant cousins that I used to call aunt & uncle, but just call them by their first names now. - Are you related to anyone famous? If not, then tell us about a relative who is extra special.
I could claim DAR if I wanted to. My relatives came over on the ship with William Penn. Recently famous though? No one comes to mind. - Did you tell your loved ones you love them today?
Not yet. I just woke up. Though I did tell my dogs - do they count? - Show us a family member, or a childhood picture.
My cousin Gail:
Because I was a little busy yesterday:
- Have you ever been out of your country?
Yes. Several times. And am planning a trip to Paris for a weekend sometime this spring. - What is your mode of transportation?
Generally? My car. But I've also been known to walk, fly, take a boat, my bicycle, rarely my ex-husbands motorcycle, and various other forms of transport. - Have you ever eaten anything straight from nature? (caught a fish, had a garden, or picked an apple off a tree)
Yes. - Tell us about some of the places you have lived.
I don't have the energy at the moment to recount the places I've lived. Let's just say I've moved around more than most but less than some. - Show us a photo from a place...Any place!
