Sappy, hallmarky, somewhat annoying. My editorial comments are in italics.

Um. Ok. But I'm myself all the time. How can I be different when I'm with someone else? And if I am, why do you make me so? That's not really healthy.
No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry.
This one's badly worded. If no one is worth your tears, then there's not one who is.
Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.
This one sounds like a life lesson from TLC. Like "merlot and email don't mix" or something. Though it goes along with a work concept that I have: your best is not everyone else's best and they may actually be doing theirs.
A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.
Can everyone just say awwwwwwwww. And then vomit?
The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them.
Sadly, this one makes a lot of sense to me. And is the only reason I posted it. But we've all been there.
Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.
They damn well better love my frown too.
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
Then they need to get a life. And know themselves better.
Don't waste your time on a man/woman, who isn't willing to waste their time on you.
Time is never wasted as long as you're having a good time. And if you're not, then you need to figure out why.
Maybe we need to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.
And was just having this conversation - there isn't just one. How can there be? And the wrong ones can be so much fun.
Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.
Heh. Why can't you do both?
There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.
Again, this makes no sense: trust but be careful about who you do? Whatever. How about just not trusting until they prove you can?
Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.
Ok. The first part - make yourself a better person - that I don't get. Be true to yourself is probably better. The second part - know yourself before you expect others to know you - that makes sense.
Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.
True. But we also make our choices and opportunities. You have to be open to the unknown, but also take advantage of situations to your benefit. Some times the best things come that way too. So, if I might reword:
Be open to the the unknown, but also take advantage of the choice and opportunity.

Who taught you how to cook?

Day to day cooking I taught myself. Mom wasn't around much while I was growing up, so I was charged with feeding myself and my sister. We did a lot of mac and cheese and rice a roni, but occasionally I would branch out (if I had gone foodshopping and there was stuff in the house) and do chicken or meatloaf or something.

My mother taught me to entertain. What I mean by that is she taught me what to make for parties (both finger foods and full dinners), how to set up, how to talk to a doorknob about the benefits of turning, all the etiquette that I could use. Which is almost as important as knowing how to cook day-to-day.
