My work mate and I were bored answering the phones (c'mon - Saturday before Christmas, everyone's at the mall, not the library) so we did a lot of Internet quizzes.  I found out that I'm a pair of high heels, only can remember 11 of the 12 days of Christmas, was Marie Antoinette in a former life, if I were a genre, I'd be mystery.  Oh, and this one.  Which has a very very pretty photo, so I figured I'd share.

This is what being bored at work gets me.  But I'm unsurprised at the results.

Alright.  I generally don't post my results if I take an internet quiz.  (Does anyone really care what color lipstick I am or what type of shoe I would be?  I didn't think so.)  Internet quizzes are a momentary guilty pleasure of mine.  I see someone took a quiz, posted the results to their blog, with the obligatory link to the quizilla or the like and I click and take the quiz.  Sometimes I'm amused (most often when I'm amused it goes on my blog); sometimes I'm surprised (would anyone who knows me take me for a CFM red leather spiked heel? Honestly?  I'm much more of a CFM red leather knee-high high-heeled boot).  Most often though, I'm bored by the end of the quiz and don't much care what the result is enough to put it on my blog. 

So where am I going with this?  I was perusing my blogroll this morning when I should have been laying out the vinyl tiles in the small bathroom (woo hoo for the net to make procrastination so easy) and The Itinerant Librarian had a "What Color is Your Brain" quiz.  Now, I've always assumed that my brain was kind of a whitish grey color with red and blue blood running through it in various places.  What color my mind is is an entirely different story.  So, being the semantic fool I am, I figured I'd see what color my brain is.  As opposed to my mind.  Which shouldn't have a color unless I'm having a conversation with a synaesthetic. 

The answer amused me.  So I'm posting it.  Whoda thunk it.  I would have put my money on the red.  You know, to go with the shoes.
