I'm sick. 

I was sick when I flew to my mother's on Friday.  I was sick the entire time I was there.  I was sick at the baby shower.  I was sick when I flew home last night.  And I've been sick all day.

I hate being sick.  Not being able to breathe, the ungodly ringing in my ears.  The no energy.  The constant napping. 
I'm also a bitch when I'm sick.  Nothing is right; everything sucks and all I want is to be left alone.

Even the dogs were on my last nerve today.

And I have to get up and go to work tomorrow.  Which really sucks.

There was an upside to the trip though.  But I'm in too shitty a mood to blog about it.

The I'm still sick, slightly stoned on the meds my doc gave me to kill the pain in my ear and throat and tired of being sick version. (Which is also why it's so late)

After a weekend of stomach flu hell, I'm happy to say that I'm back among the living.  This song was playing on my way into work this morning.  There was a time in my life I wanted to be Stevie Nicks.  Now?  Really not.  But I am robbing the cradle when it comes to a couple of the people I'm seeing.

is cancelled again.  Does this stomach flu ever go away?

Is cancelled today on account of being on death's door.  Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.
